Connecting Google Calendar to Aria
Let Aria check availability and book appointments directly into your Google Calendar in real time.
What this enables
Once connected, Aria can:
- Check real-time availability in your calendar before offering slots.
- Book confirmed appointments straight into your calendar.
- Send the caller an SMS or email confirmation.
- Respect your working hours and existing busy blocks.
Step-by-step
1. In your dashboard, open Integrations → Google Calendar. 2. Click Connect Google Calendar and sign in with the Google account that owns the calendar. 3. Grant the requested permissions (read free/busy, create events). 4. Choose which calendar Aria should book into. 5. Set the appointment length (e.g. 30 minutes) and buffer time between bookings. 6. Save.
Working hours and time zone
Aria uses your business time zone (set under Agent Config → Time zone) and only offers slots inside the working hours you've defined. Lunch breaks, recurring meetings, and any Busy events block those slots automatically.
Multiple calendars / staff
If you have multiple practitioners or team members, your account manager can help configure round-robin booking, per-staff calendars, or service-based routing. Reach out via Contacting your account manager.
Removing the connection
Open Integrations → Google Calendar and click Disconnect. Aria will stop booking immediately. Existing booked events stay in your calendar.
