How to forward your business number to Aria
Step-by-step instructions for forwarding calls from your existing line to your Aria agent — works with most EU providers.
Why forward instead of replace?
Forwarding lets you keep your existing business number while Aria handles the calls. You can forward all calls, only when busy, or only when unanswered after X rings.
We strongly recommend conditional forwarding: your team picks up first, and Aria catches the overflow.
Standard forwarding codes (most EU providers)
Dial these directly from the business phone:
- All calls to Aria:
*21<your-aria-number># - When unanswered:
*61<your-aria-number>**<seconds># - When busy:
*67<your-aria-number># - When unreachable:
*62<your-aria-number># - Disable all forwarding:
##002#
Replace <your-aria-number> with the number shown in your dashboard under Setup → Your Aria Number (international format, e.g. +31201234567).
VoIP / cloud PBX providers
Most cloud phone systems (3CX, RingCentral, Aircall, Bird, Vonage, Telekom Cloud PBX) have a Forward / Failover setting in their admin panel. Set the destination to your Aria number.
Testing
After enabling forwarding, call your business number from a different phone and let it ring out. Aria should pick up within 1–2 rings of forwarding. If something doesn't work, capture the time of the test call and contact your account manager — we can pull call logs from our side and help debug.
